Saturday February 1 track and map
Time laid - 11:08. Time run- 11:38. Temperature - 47 Wind - 14 mph weather - sunny humidity- 72%
Goal for the tracks. Turning into and away from a hedgerow
How did if feel - we still need to work on tracking into a hedgerow and turning before the hedge , tracking down the line the turning out was fine, I put big globs of food at the turn and every 5ft as directed but still was work to keep him on track away from hedges
after the turn tracks at the hedge, we did 2 straight line tracks
time set 11:25 and 11:50 ran12:15 and 12:38
there were faint straight lines in the grass , our goal was to stay as close as possible to the line
the first line was 100 yards the second 130 , there were visible tracks as the ground was wet and mushy at spots
felt good he stayed right on the line
Understandable that the hedges would be hard for him. I think F is food on your map. I can't tell whether the 5 ft reference in your notes is EVERY five feet or five feet going into and out of the turn. But the next time you work bouncing off hedges or woods, double lay it and drop cheese every three steps the length of the hedge. See if more augmentation helps his focus.
