  time laid -3:39  time run -5:30   temperature -50 wind - 6mph humidity-62  weather sunny when laid  overcast when run goal- was to just get in a tracking day without traveling to far and have a longer time between laying the track and running it went to Kelseys woods  , flagged trees ,  6foot leash , food drops I divided up between legs 3 things dog did well  ran the track well nose to the ground really working it some turns i held the spot he really worked his nose to find the turns improve on  I set the article in a hole not deep and he passed over it , I held the spot and let him find it  

 time laid 12;40 time run 1:45  WIND 6 MPH temperture 51  humidity 45 weather sunny felt  good 3 things done well  after we had set the track a large group of kids with some parents moved from the kindergarden area to the line after our first turn  playing and running remote cars . i didn't know if we would be able to track or to start my track in the middle . After a hour they left us just enough room to go thru..as we started i had to tell Zane nose down a few times which he did . 1] make a great turn at the turn into the group  2] had nose down concentrating on tracking as he went by the group  3] when laying the track came upon a small creek  I  Couldn't jump it and had to make a tight turn he picked right up on it . improve on  as always double lines and map making  goal for next tracks , if the ice melts I would like to cross creeks

 

 

 Time laid 2:20  time run 3:07 temperature 42  wind 7mph  weather cloudy humidity 42 Goal for track - work on double lines things Dog did well  Went right over small mix gravel spot Went right over small concrete spot had put globs of food at the spots as recommended but another dog came and ate it Like to improve on Map making Double lines Goal for next track  when I come back here improve on map making , double lines and do the quarter thing Using  a 6 ft leash , used water bottle with hots dogs at the end

 Time laid 11:10am. Time run 11:48. Temperature 43. Wind 7mph   weather overcast  Humidity 81% Goal - work on double line set up , stay close to track as possible, challenge going over large gravel area Overall felt good , there were areas to improve on  3 things dog did well  Some nice turns Had nose down right at the start of the track Went from short grass to grass my  head level to find article no problem  Need to improve on  Though most turns were very nice one he plowed ahead  , I really had to hold as he was driving , until he finally hit a switch and got the turn We went over a large gravel area made a nice turn up the gravel over 2 grass bunkers then on our return to gravel  he again wanted to turn right , instead of straight.  I rally had to hold him till he got the trail but he still wanted to drift to the right  once we got to the grass area he was right on the track  again There was a big gust of wind as we di...

 Track laid 2:45.   Time run 3:30.   Temperature 50.  Wind 6mph  weather cloudy turning into sunny Humidity 80% Goal to track in snow/ it felt good  We tracked in the woods where snow still covered most of the ground, it didn’t seem to be a problem  3 things well He was in tracking mode and I had to tell him to wait while I crawled under a half fallen tree on the track he did then we took off  I had dropped a clothes pin that I used for flagging the track, he found it and got rewarded for an extra article  Tracked in snow no problem  Improve on  Always work on trusting    I saw a flag through an opening in the trees and wondered for a second did we miss a turn? why are we were not going in that direction, then as I followed Zane I realized we were going in a big square and would come to it after 2 left turns For me to carry extra supplies when setting the track We did a second short track  Track laid  3pm.  ...

 Track laid - 330pm Time run - 416pm Temperature - 45 Wind - gusts up to 10 mph Goal - to get back tracking.       how did it feel - Good to get back Put down random food drops but he probably only took a 1/3rd 3 things did well Very nice turns Grabbed the article no hesitation  At last turn on the straightaway to the article 68 yards he really plowed in  Improve on  Keeping as close to the track line as possible not let the wind have him run a few feet parallel to the track  Keeping his head down mainly at the beginning of the track We lined up double line markers for the beginning of the track then use old faded lines that were marked on the field for the course to see how close he could stay to the lines
